Commission for a watercolour collage featuring ramen noodles. Earthy colours and different layering techniques were used to develop a piece that intended to warm and comforting, much like the dish itself. Various ingredients were trialled that might feature in such a dish. The piece was mocked up for a cookbook to give a sense of the illustration in a commercial sense.
